Jubilee Women’s Center supports women experiencing poverty to build stable and fulfilling futures, one extraordinary woman at a time. Led by the guiding principle that all women deserve respect and dignity, Jubilee’s programs and services help women make permanent life changes. Executive Director Cheryl Sesnon, ’03, has a master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership from SU, where she has served as an adjunct professor. In recognition of her 20 years of transformational leadership in nonprofits, Ms. Sesnon received Seattle University’s Community Service Alumni Award for 2016.
Six volunteer slots available. We will plan, prepare ahead and serve a community dinner for the 30 residents of the Center. We will arrive at 5 PM for a tour of the facility and then serve and share dinner. We can wear SU colors (Alumni Tee shirts will be provided).
